Krill ingredients manufacturer Aker Biomarine ASA (Oslo, Norway) has applied for a krill trawling license to be used in the Antarctic Ocean.

Krill ingredients manufacturer Aker Biomarine ASA (Oslo, Norway) has applied for a second krill trawling license to be used in the Antarctic Ocean. If the application is approved, the company will trawl with the Antarctic Navigator, a vessel currently owned by Aker Biomarine’s largest shareholder Aker ASA.

Aker BioMarine expects its application to be processed by June 2011.
