Beef up your e-mail marketing. Many businesses are aggressively seeking the e-mail addresses of people who have “liked” them on Facebook. The theory: If people have gone out of their way to “like” your business on Facebook, they’ve already signaled that they want communications from you. With e-mail, you can go direct to these people, without worrying about a middleman.

New review from BAPP estimates adulteration of five popular botanicals
September 10th 2024The study focused on the adulteration of black cohosh rhizome, echinacea root or herb, elder berry, ginkgo leaf, and turmeric root/rhizome. The authors reviewed 78 publications with a total of 2995 samples. Of the 2995 samples, 818 were reported to be adulterated or mislabeled.
