
New distribution agreement signed by Arla Foods Ingredients and Alchemy Agencies
Arla Foods Ingredients and Alchemy Agencies have announced a new distribution agreement for Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.
Arla Foods Ingredients revealed in a recent press release1, that the organization has entered into a new distribution agreement with Alchemy Agencies. This partnership will focus on targetng Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) with plans on expanding their sales in Southeast Asia.
According to the press release, the new distribution agreement will include five ingredients from Arla Foods Ingredients1:
- Lacprodan: a whey protein isolate that consists of nearly 90% protein and is best suited for ready-to-drink (RTD) sports beverages, protein bars, gels, and powder shakes.
- Capolac: a milk mineral concentrate that contains magnesium, bioavailable calcium, and phosphorus. This ingredient may help with body composition, supporting muscle function, and healthy bones.
- MicelPure: a micellar casein isolate that includes 86% native protein and calcium and can be used in shakes and sports nutrition RTD beverages.
- Nutrilac PB-8420: a whey and milk protein ingredient that may help with providing robustness, ease of processing, and soft texture for sports protein bars.
- Nutrilac MFGM: a whey protein ingredient which includes complex lipids and has the potential to support strength and physical performance.
According to Euromonitor2, the second highest per capita global spend on sports nutrition products, powder shakes, bars, and drinks can be found in the ANZ region. Australia was found to be the “world’s third largest sports nutrition market.”1,2
