The company calls its business model “B2B4C,” helping brands identify market trends and opportunities.
TSI Group (Missoula, MT) will emphasize what it calls its “B2B4C” business model at booth #5811 at the SupplySide West trade show happening October 23-27, 2023, in Las Vegas. The company’s services span not only supplying ingredients but helping marketers identify “consumer-centric” category trends and opportunities and helping product developers address these with formulation ideation.
“We don’t wait for customers to come to us with a challenge,” said the company’s CEO, Joe Zhou, in a press release. “We’re doing the early work for them. We’re out there finding the trends and opportunities. Then, we use our global resources and decades of experience to develop the science and evidence-based formulas with the best delivery system, dosage, and form the consumer loves, so we’re ready when the market is ready.”
The company offers support for research, formulation, and manufacturing centering on its branded ingredients such as MyHMB, Hobamine, Enfinity, and GlucosaGreen. “A lot of times, customers think something is unavailable due to engineering difficulties. But we can make the impossible possible, and the unavailable available,” Zhou added.
The company uses its MyHMB ingredient as an example of developing an ingredient for the market based on consumer insights. “To truly innovate, we need to know the end consumer’s health needs as well as or better than our customers,” said Larry Kolb, TSI’s group president. “Our commitment is evidenced with MyHMB. We challenge ourselves to know the muscle health market better than our customers. It’s very important for TSI to know the consumer market and needs so we can help our customers communicate the consumer benefits when you achieve total musculoskeletal health.”
At SupplySide West, the company will also discuss its expertise in a range of non-pill delivery forms, including gummies, powders, liquids and effervescents, such as its FZZR delivery form that consumers can drink or take directly as a mini tablet.
