Almond Pro (Miami, FL), an almond-protein brand that launched in 2015 and has seen success with its Organic High Protein Almond Flour, has now added Almond Protein Powder to its portfolio. Available in chocolate and vanilla flavors, each serving of the new protein powder contains 19 g of almond protein, 6 g of fiber, and 14 essential vitamins and minerals, according to Almond Pro.
The firm adds that its Almond Protein Powder is made from real almonds and offers a much lower fat-to-protein ratio than competing products, thanks to the company’s “artisanal” pressurized extraction technique that allows for a significant reduction of almond fat in the final product.
“What really excites everyone behind the project is that something like this has never been done before,” says Caulen Foster, president and CEO of Almond Pro. “The response we received after releasing our Organic High Protein Almond Flour was amazing, so we knew we had to set the bar really high for our next product. I feel extremely confident in saying that we hit the mark with this one.”
Almond Pro notes that its new protein powder is also free from artificial colors and flavors, gluten ingredients, GMO ingredients, lactose, dairy, and soy. The firm is also currently working to develop additional flavors of Almond Protein Powder.
