Waitaki Biosciences (Christchurch, New Zealand) is launching a new musculoskeletal ingredient at SupplySide West called CytoC. The ingredient is a blend of type I and type II collagen, calcium, phosphorus, and glycosaminoglycans-ingredients that support bone, muscle, and joint health.
During the show, the company will also highlight its other branded ingredients, all of which utilize New Zealand–grown raw materials, which the company says offer high levels of bioactives due to the region’s growing environment. These ingredients include digestive-health green kiwifruit ingredient ActiPhen and CassiPure, a blackcurrant extract high in anthocyanins. Another ingredient is PernaTec, a greenshell mussel oil extract high in phospholipids for anti-inflammatory support.
