Dolcas Tenshi Bioceuticals Inc., a new joint venture recently announced by DolCas Biotech, LLC (Landing, NJ) and Tenshi Kaizen Private, Ltd. (Bengaluru, India), is debuting a nutraceutical formula called Fortiquin, to support male sexual health, at Vitafoods Europe, in Geneva. A patented blend of herbs and nutrients, Fortiquin contains mucuna, cynara, trigonella, ashwagandha, and the amino acid L-arginine. The blend is standardized for bioflavonoid and saponin content, two phytochemicals known for their effects on reproductive health, vascular health, and the nervous system.

“Fortiquin is an all-natural powerhouse blend of botanicals,” said Shavon Jackson-Michel, ND, director of medical and scientific affairs for DolCas-Tenshi, in a press release. “The individual herbs coexist as clean-label extracts, rather than powders, delivering not only an enriched profile of the phytochemicals most associated with their functionality and organ affinity, but also ensuring consistent quality from batch to batch.”

“DolCas-Tenshi is attentive to the drive for increased standardization of quality for all aspects of developing natural sexual health products,” said Vivek A. Parachur, co-founder and CEO of Olene Life Sciences, developer and manufacturer of Fortiquin, in a press release. “This encompasses sourcing, storage, and proper clinical assessment of bioactivity and efficacy.”

Comprehensive clinical studies on the product are ongoing, though publication of clinical evidence for Fortiquin’s efficacy is expected in late spring
