Two ingredients from Chemi Nutra (Austin, TX), Mediator Phosphatidic Acid (PA) and SerinAid 70P PhosphatidylSerine (PS), have received non-GMO verification from The International GMO Evaluation and Notification (IGEN) Program.
“We selected the IGEN program, because we were very impressed with the testing integrity this organization provides and stands behind, and verification assures our customers that our [specialty ingredients have] been thoroughly tested by a certified third party, and that our customers as well as final consumers can be assured of our complete transparency in demonstrating the total lack of GMOs," said Scott Hagerman, president of Chemi Nutra, in a press release.
Mediator PA is 100% natural and has been clinically demonstrated to support muscle mass and strength in sports nutrition and healthy aging categories. SerinAid 70P PS is also 100% natural and has been granted two Qualified Health claims from FDA for cognitive support. The ingredient has been clinically demonstrated to support learning, memory, recall, focus, attentiveness, and stress management.
“In the end, we know that our customers want natural, safe, research supported specialty ingredients that are all natural, non-synthetic, and GMO-free,” added Hagerman.
