ACG (Mumbai, India), a supplier of manufacturing solutions for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries, has launched a new capsule-filling machine designed for ease of use. The new AF330 capsule filler also helps improve safety and efficiency and reduce maintenance costs and unplanned downtime, the company stated in a press release. The company called the design “consumer-centric.”

“Tailored to meet the evolving needs of the pharmaceutical industry, it produces the highest amount of output with minimum footprint,” the press release states. “The machine boasts its latest HMI (Human Machine Interface) design, ensuring seamless and intuitive operation.”

Specifically, the machine is designed to eliminate the risk of errors during setup, the company says. “The accelerated machine setup not only results in shorter downtimes but also translates to improved yields, providing customers with enhanced productivity,” it adds. “As an IIoT-enabled system, the AF330 facilitates tracking and online monitoring, enabling comprehensive machine health checks.”
