Chr. Hansen Partners with Japan-Based Amino Up

Chr. Hansen (Hoersholm, Denmark) has entered into a five-year partnership with Japan-based firm Amino Up Chemical Company, Ltd., to develop dietary supplements and functional food. Chr. Hansen is a leader in probiotic ingredients, while Amino Up focuses on natural plant-derived ingredients.
The companies plan to develop clinically documented products addressing conditions such as immune health and weight management. The first products developed from their partnership should be launched regionally beginning next year.
