Natural Ingredients from Wood Touted for Cosmetics

Symrise (Holzminden, Germany) is offering a new line of cosmetic ingredients derived from wood. The Actipone Woods line comprises extracts from the wood of ash, honey locust, sweet cherry, and walnut tree.

The company says ingredients can offer antiaging and smoothing properties for products such as face cream, after-shave balms, and shampoo.
