Cactus Botanics Launches Brown Seaweed

Cactus Botanics (Shanghai) is now offering various grades of brown seaweed (Laminaria japonica), which contains high levels of health-supporting fucoidan. The company says fucoidan has been shown to exhibit anti-inflammatory effects, making it beneficial for heart health, as well as supportive of hypothyroidism, fatigue, and menstruation.

For dietary supplements, the company is offering:

• A brown seaweed powder extract with a 20:1 to 75:1 ration with more than 50% polysaccharides
• Brown seaweed-derived fucoidan 85% for pharmaceutical- and food-grade applications
• Fucoidan 20% and 35%
