ThreoTech LLC has announced that it has reached a confidential settlement with Green Jeeva to end a patent infringement lawsuit regarding Magtein magnesium L-threonate. The lawsuit was originally filed on August 15, 2024 in the Central District of California.
“Magtein is a unique dietary supplement ingredient protected by a variety of composition and use patents,” said Edward Lee, CEO of ThreoTech, LLC, in a press release. “Our patent portfolio and other intellectual property supporting Magtein magnesium L-threonate is strong. We stand ready to protect our intellectual property.”
ThreoTech LLC is the exclusive licensee of a portfolio of patents owned by Neurocentria Inc. Magtein has been shown in research to support sleep and cognitive health.
