Nutrition 21’s (Purchase, NY) patented complex of bonded arginine silicate and inositol, Nitrosigine, will now be featured in Evertrain Pre, a recently launched pre-workout supplement that the company says supports athletes’ energy, focus, and endurance. According to Nutrition 21, Nitrosigine’s ability to boost nitric oxide levels, thus increasing blood flow to muscles during exercise, makes it an ideal addition to pre-workout supplements like Evertrain Pre.
According to Nutrition 21, Nitrosigine has been shown to boost key factors that increase blood flow, as well as to increase mental acuity, muscle volume, energy, and silicon levels, among other exercise-related benefits. In addition, the company noted, Nitrosigine is quickly absorbed and its effects are long-lasting.
Evertrain Pre is a pre-workout supplement designed to boost energy levels, focus, and endurance. It is also non-GMO, uses natural colors and flavors, and features additional patented ingredients including CarnoSyn beta-alanine (Natural Alternatives International; San Marcos, CA) and vegan L-citrulline from supplier Kyowa Hakko (Tokyo).
In a press statement, Dustin DePanicis, cofounder, PharmD, Evertrain, commented on Nitrosigine’s inclusion in the new Evertrain Pre supplement: “We take great pride in creating high-quality products that are both safe and effective, and Evertrain Pre’s comprehensive formula is a perfect example of that. It uses the high-quality, clinically reviewed ingredient Nitrosigine to optimize training sessions for increased muscle volume and mental acuity.”
Jim Kahn, vice president of sales, Nutrition 21, added: “Consumers should look for Evertrain Pre as well as the Nitrosigine logo on sports nutrition products to get more out of their workouts.”
Nitrosigine, which has FDA New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) notification status, has also been self-affirmed Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) at the level of 1,500 mg per day for use in nutritional bars and beverages.
