The Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED; Salt Lake City, UT) announced that registration is now officially open for its biennial omega-3 industry event, GOED Exchange 2018. The event, which will take place February 6-8 in Seattle, will cover important issues and controversies in the omega-3 market. According to GOED, the Exchange is known for its networking opportunities, facilitating interaction between its specialized audience and industry experts, and helping businesses succeed in the omega-3 market.
The conference will feature a wide range of topics, including trust and the media, omega-3 controversies, consumer opinion, omega-3 science, and omega-3 influencers. The new additions to this year’s event include a media training workshop, which is slated for the day before the main conference. GOED says that the workshop is designed to instruct industry attendees on how best to field interview questions, develop key messages, and how to break down the science behind omega-3s into media friendly messaging.
