The Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED; Salt Lake City, UT) announced that registration is now officially open for its biennial omega-3 industry event, GOED Exchange 2018. The event, which will take place February 6-8 in Seattle, will cover important issues and controversies in the omega-3 market. According to GOED, the Exchange is known for its networking opportunities, facilitating interaction between its specialized audience and industry experts, and helping businesses succeed in the omega-3 market.

The conference will feature a wide range of topics, including trust and the media, omega-3 controversies, consumer opinion, omega-3 science, and omega-3 influencers. The new additions to this year’s event include a media training workshop, which is slated for the day before the main conference. GOED says that the workshop is designed to instruct industry attendees on how best to field interview questions, develop key messages, and how to break down the science behind omega-3s into media friendly messaging.

In a press release from GOED, Adam Ismail, executive director, GOED, commented: “We develop our content with the intent to help each and every business in omega-3 space, whether you're interested in the latest science, new market research or a novel way to think about marketing or innovation.”

GOED encourages anyone involved with the omega-3 industry to attend the event. The complete event agenda, as well as registration information can be found on the GOED Exchange website.
