Gummy supplement manufacturer INS Nutra (Purdy, MO) has opened a manufacturing facility that it says caters to small- and mid-size nutraceutical firms. The 45,000-sq-ft facility is located in Mount Vernon, MO, and offers manufacturing, bottling, and pouching services, with the capacity to handle approximately one million gummies and 50,000 bottles per day.
In a press release, company CEO Devon Bennett said, “We felt that smaller customers were underserved by the current gummy manufacturers, and we wanted to provide responsive, reliable manufacturing options with manageable R&D fees, prompt sample creation, quick-to-market lead times, and reasonable minimum orders.”
The facility is NSF-certified and in the process of obtaining organic, non-GMO, and gluten-free certification, projected for later this year.
